Patrys...

Thank you for responding to this thread. I did contact you earlier as you might have been aware. For me, I can speak that price will reflect quality. I know that you have done such an excellent job.

Now what I am trying to do is to gather people that are interested in doing this and then present our group to the vendors like yourself. That way, this group can also share their installation process, issues, etc since we are doing it almost at the same time.

Please let us gather people first and then see if you are interested in handling us as a group. I am specifically asking people to put what types of install that they would like to have so that you as a vendor can also monitor what's popular these days among us.

In the mean time, if we are able to gather maybe around 10 people or maybe more, would you be able to provide us with some general view on what can you do to help us (i.e. some bonus, etc)?

Thank you

Our regular pricing is available on our website. If somebody wants to order additional options like Combox, 6FL, 6NR or something else we are offering discounts for these options.
Additionally if there is a group buy we can lower the price even more.
However we take each order as a custom order because usually each car spec is different and the CIC/Combox/6NR combo for one car can cost less or more than for the other car.

If I receive a list of VINs with the options each of you would like to retrofit I can reply with detailed pricing.
We really want to make sure everyone will get all parts that are needed to retrofits the options each of you want.

We would be happy to offer you our services but our priority is to make sure everything is done right and that in the end you really get what you wanted so we do not sell "generic" CIC kits.

We can also offer you installation services in FL, NJ, TX, IL, CA and GA.

Pros: updated software, layout, features, HD screen, the CIC is somewhat faster than the old CCC, awesome idrive controller, the list goes on...

Cons: unless you have $$ its crazy to drop so much money on the list above lol....but to each their own. i did this mod (for a fraction of the cost), but i dont think im going to do it for my E60 M5 that i have now...but im one of the few people on the forum w/ that opinion though...

Pros: What Chris said. Also if you have been having the crave to upgrade you E60 car to the new 5-series, just because of the iDrive system for the new one, this may satisfy you for a few years. Also, it's going to be an upgrade you will actually enjoy everyday (vs. the bodywork or wheels that loook good but are functionally providing very less extra)

Cons: Expensive so make sure you know what you are getting into. I had a MASK. Upgraded to a LCI-CCC for a fraction of the cost. Then upgraded to the CIC for a deal also. Then have been back and forth between the CIC and the CCC. We have two E60s in the family, so I finally put the CIC in my dad's car and kept the CCC (which I think is the perfect price-value balance for me). Also, another major issue is the variety of vendors selling the CIC and the temptation to go with a 400$ cheaper unit on eBay vs. a reputable seller here. Some of such buys fail (read the long thread and on M5board). Also the price includes a steep cost of installation and coding, some of which can be done for much much cheaper with a coding cable and research.

Finally, if you are going to sell your car with the CIC, don't expect the buyer to pay a huge premium for the CIC.

Thanks for the list guys, I plan on keeping my 5 for a long time as I barely have any miles on it. (20K on an '09)...I believe I have the newest idrive controller (individual buttons for radio, phone, etc) What parts would I need to do the upgrade? I'm sorry for all the noobish questions.

Thanks for all the help

In this case I think you still need the CIC unit and the HD screen (assuming you still have the CCC system) and misc. cables to connect CIC with HD, CIC with the USB adapter/AUX port, CIC with Combox.

You will still need the coding services etc and Combox Unit (if you want to have bluetooth audio, screen displaying ipod screen, additional features)

Please include your name in the list with the parts that you are interested in. I have 4 people before in the list.

Thank you
