Yes, I think a 75hp shot on your 545i should be more than safe. No need to upgrade internals... Just make sure you always run 93 octane (minimum) fuel if you are spraying.

My Ride: E60 01/04 545i - 19" Alloys
Its a clean and well integrated install
I too have a 545i, being In Adelaide AUS however makes getting a BMW remapped pretty difficult from a reputable tuner. Which raises my question, did you have to get the car ECU programmed for the extra power?
If i were to do an install like this, I too would put all of those fail safes in play, did Nitrous Express install and interface these or are they seperate sensors?
Cheers,
Matt

As far as the ECU needing to be programed, no its not necessary... The cars onboard computer and wide-band o2 sensors automatically compensate for the nitrous and additional fuel by retarding timing, adjusting fuel curves, etc.)
Most of the safety devices in my nitrous system are from Nitrous Express, but there were a few things I got from other manufactures.
Here's a breakdown on where things came from:
Duel/Redundant Nitrous Solenoids - Nitrous Express
Fuel Pressure Safety Switch - Nitrous Express
Air/Fuel Ratio Safety Switch - DynoTune (LC-1) *may be discontinued. They have an LC-2 now. Haven't tested that one yet.
Electronic Wide Open Throttle/RPM Window Switch - NOS (part#741-15982)
Manual Nitrous “Engage” Button - Custom circuit I had built to interface with the shifters factory buttons.
Cooler Spark Plugs - NGK
Well, I hope that helps!

Nice ride and a really clean job but it looks like a lot of expensive work.
It's so much easier to get that power out of the 535 though.
Dyno'd my 535 last summer and it made 380rwhp and 423 rwtq with a tune and 5 gallons E85.
