Speaking of M5's, just yesterday I got a chance to drive one for the first time. Obviously I am talking about the E39 M5. The feel of 400HP is enough to make you really take notice. I can only imagine a 500HP V10

reckamech;Yes, I know what you mean. I didn't get to drive one, but got the pleasure of getting the proverbial "ride around town" in one for about 15 minutes last summer. Apparently, the owner was related to someone at a BMW dealership, had a triple Dinan package on the car, and had a SERIOUS lead foot.

After that ride, I must tell you... I think I get a little frightened imagining the new M5.

Hey RichReg

I see you a lot on the Roadfly board in the E60 section. Their are so many trolls on that board. Sometimes things get out of hand. I am still out to lunch on the new 5 but I am comming around slowly From what I hear you gotta see the car in person to really cast judgement. I'll tell you this much, Black with the Cinimon leather will be hard to frown upon. When I comment on roadfly I am SHONUFF. I have a split personality

Yes they can get out of hand, and admin is even deleting my post now even though I'm not trolling! Nonetheless, I have a good time on that board.

Anyway, I think most of the cat is out of the bag as far as inside info is concerned. I just don't see the Roadfly E60 board being the same now that the car will actually reach the showrooms.

I did see it and like I mentioned in an earlier post, the headlights & taillights make a lot more sense in person than in the photos. I pretty convinced that I would buy the car whereas before I was also "on the fence".

Black would definitely look awesome of course, as most black cars usually do, but there's always the keep it clean factor........
