Well,

This is a fantastic price; although I'm a little shocked that the HUD is an option given the "M" mode that the HUD offers.

I also feel a little vindicated. In this post: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=8627&hl=#, I hypothesized a base price of around $77k with a $1300 GG tax. This 81,200 number is substantially lower than the $100k+ thrown around by most people with an opinion. Fully loaded, the car will be just barely over $90k.

BMW will always be a little cheaper than Merc, and Audi will always be a little cheaper than BMW.

Yeah, you guys are really lucky. The M5 cost over here 132,400 Euros and that is approx. USD 158,000. :'(

My 525iA cost the same as the M5 in US.

Startprice in the netherlands is aprox. 130.000 euros too... Man.. A US M5 is cheaper then my current 530i.. I think it's time to immigrate to the US!!!!!!

That is so cheap you guys. Like realy realy cheap. The price over here in EU is about 116.000.
Well also it is cheap in US for us because of the currency exchange, dollar is pretty cheap lately.
Some of you guys in the USA should start a business selling the cars back to EU

The real rip-off is in the options

UK full leather.....5.5Kgbp= ~10,000 us$ !!!!!!!!!!!!

at least we get hud included in base price

That's why we're having broken border down south. Is it true that M5 in US is cheaper than in Mexico?
