Ooopsie, that sucks harder than a cheap wench in a brothel Jon, sounds to me like you hit some coolant maybe with it being green, Power steering fluid is generaly dyed red AFAIK, washer fluid Blue etc, I think they are colour coded ( I could be wrong of course, just a guess ), just as slippery as oil in its raw form tho.

Hope your back up and running ASAP mate

Thats awful mate, UK roads dont seem to be able to handle big powerful cars
Main thing is you are OK and the damage is controlled and looks like it can be easily fixed (touch wood!)

Let us know how the repairs get on and what is found Best of luck

(PS - Mark, you're right about Bay fluids being colour coded)

Thanks guys. Yeah Mark, you are right about those colours. Just jogged my memory!

Well i heard back from the bodyshop today, and they reckon i am going to need, new wheel, new tire, new lower arm, new strut, wing on the 3/4 panel repaired by panel beating and welding and then respraying where a bit has been sliced into on the inside, and that seems to be it. But they didn't get enough time to look underneath properly. So far though, IF that is all, ?3350.00 which isn't too bad, i guess... Worst thing is, i won't have the car back realistically until mid-late January next year

Really sorry to see this, Jon. One should never have to see their wheel in more than one piece. Your car control probably prevented it from being worse, I suspect. Best of luck in getting on with the repairs. -Calvin

Thanks guys. The kerb was actually still pretty much intact! I thought i may have at least inconvenienced the local council for not clearing up the mess they should have cleared up, and subsequently twatting their kerb, but alas, sadly not! Ah well.

As for my car control Calvin, i'd like to think that was the case. But i think it may have been a bit of luck involved too... However, my drifting skills aren't too shabby...
