I need some advice here. I'm currently at 76k and the wishbones, tension struts and sway bar end links on my E60 have never been replaced although I have upgraded to M6 sway bars, added the 3 Ultra Racing lower bars and currently on K Sport coilovers.
My driver side wishbone and sway bar link both have a little play in them both on the ball joint end. There is no clunking, weird noises, pulling or handling degradation on the road. The passenger side is surprisingly fine. No play, no cracks and no sign of degradation.
I typically like replacing both sides of any suspension work that I do, like I did with my rear ball joints, but I was wondering what do other members do.
Do you replace them in pairs or just the worn components?
Can you also please chime in on what brand you used and where you got them?
I read the DIY's on the forum and I'm leaning towards the aftermarket links and wishones from fcpgroton.com
Thanks in advance!!!
