Waste-gate Rattle: Suggestions?
I have a 2008 BMW 535i that I just purchased from an auction. The car's got about 120k miles on it. A friend pointed out that it has a pretty common waste gate rattling issue. The car drives just fine but I'm curious to know whether or not I should just leave it alone or get it adjusted? and if so, about how much should I pay for it at an indy shop? Looking for recommendations or suggestions.

You can do some adjustment to the WG to minimize the rattle but you need to remove the under body panel and the reinforcement plate to get into the WG area. If your not planning on tuning it you can probably just leave it alone until you start popping 30ff codes.

Would you mind elaborating on this? I am running 18psi and can't get through 3rd without a 30ff. Can both wastegates be accessed or just one? I can only find info for the 3 series.
