Default Starter Repair

Has anyone tried to repair a failed starter instead of replacing it with a new one?

Yes its fairly easy. I did my first one last month. it only cost me around $35 to do. Next I am going to learn how to rebuild an alternator. The site below is where I went to to get the kit. Make sure you test it before you put it back in.
