Default question on aluminum trim

Those of you who have an E60 with the aluminum trim--are you happy with it? is it cheap looking or nice? Does it scratch easily?

I have a black interior with Dark Bamboo and I am thinking of switching out to aluminum trim--quite a contrast from the dark wood and I am looking for all your thoughts.

thanks

I have the aluminium trim in my lci m-sport. I initially thought it was plastic until i felt it one morning and realised it was cold and obviously metal/aluminium. It is really nice and offers a nice contrast to the black leather interior.
I've been on the lookout for a darker trim set as my previous e39 had gloss black inserts which i really liked.
The aluminium trim is nice but has a small weave pattern on it which can get grubby easily, but it's not too hard to clean. Are you looking to replace yours?

yes, I have the dark bamboo, which looks nice with black interior but I wanted something more sporty. It is an 2009.
