My Ride: 2009 BMW 535i xDrive - Comfort Access - Sun Blinds - Comfort Seats - Navigation Professional - Automatic High Beams - Night Vision - Head Up Display - Lane Deviation Warning - Active Cruise Control with Stop+Go
Default Preparing for CIC Retrofit

Hey guys. So I recently picked up a 2009 BMW 535i xDrive with 86k on it. It's in nice shape so I've only been doing cosmetic touch ups and fixes. Did a full interior/exterior detail including Leatherique Rejuvenator in the hot sun. It's really coming together nicely.

But the CD player eject button doesn't work. And the Nav DVD drive is spotty at best. Some times it can't recognize the DVD. So it's kind of annoying. My 09 already has the updated A/C controls and the USB Aux in the center compartment. Has the updated iDrive remote with all the shortcuts too. So I figured why not just do the upgrade?

So this is where I could use assistance. I've checked a bunch of retrofit posts, but what I can't find is part numbers. I'm looking to buy what I need via eBay. But there are small variations in things on eBay and I don't want to buy the wrong part. So I was wondering if anyone could weigh in on what precisely I'd need. The way I see it is I will need the new CIC head unit which contains the hard drive. And I might need a new screen. I think I most likely will. And then I guess I'd need the cable to connect those. Am I missing anything?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
