Need help!
Hi all!
I want to ask your help, i know some professionals can help me out!
I have a BMW e60 525d 2006.
Recently i bought a cable from ebay to start working with INPA.
++ OBD2 USB K-Line BMW Diagnose Interface INPA/Ediabas NCS NFS DIS SSS GT1 ++ | eBay
I installed Ediabas, Inpa, driver, configured etc etc..
I think INPA sees my cable because if it's not connected the Battery and the Ignition are showed as off. When i connect the cable to the laptop the Battery and the Ignition are showed on (black dot).
Okay. I say everything is okay go down check what's when i connect to the car. I start and nothing happens. The led on the connector doesn't lights up. Checked INPA i get the error IFH-0003.
Google is my friend so i searched.
What i found.
Maybe a fuse...
I checked all fuses and according the diagram i checked the nr20. in the glovebox. It was ok. I tried again but no sucess. Than i checked on the internet, and i saw several e60 said the fuse 29 is the OBD fuse. I checked, it's okay.
I looked into the connector where the fuse goes. Only the top of the connector was there. I looked other ones and some had up and down the some not. I thought maybe it's pushed back. I removed the fuse box. everything was fine.
But still no connection with my car. and the light not lights on the connector.
Ok. I search more and somewhere i saw some bmws has some power control unit which communicates with several parts and if it's fails than it can cause problems like this.
Now i'm curious because when i close the car and the ccc restart every 10 minutes or something like this. I heard it should turn off after 10 minutes. But when it turned off, than a minute later it turns on i hear the unit.
So i don't know what shoud be the problem.
Maybe the Cable?
I read maybe the 7 and the 8 pin on the cable must be briged. But i don't know for which year. Can somebody answer ?
Maybe the OBD Port?
Maybe the configuration?
Maybe something else?
Had someone similar problem and found a solution for that?
Thank you for you help in advance guys!

Hello!
I'm back! Finally i solved the problem and now verything works fine. Inpa works fine with DIS i have some problem but i will solve (i think).
The problem was with one pin in the OBD connector which didn't contact with the cable.
