And it's pretty damn early in the morning, you are either going to work or coming home from a long night of partying...

Since you have a 550 you could keep an eye out for the coolant transfer pipe leakage issue unless you've already encountered that.

The obligatory valve stem seals. Your valve cover and timing cover gaskets fixed yet? Tune up time...

Water pump will probably go out soon unless you have already replaced that when it previously broke or did it preventatively.
Pulleys will likely start to go bad soon (before 150k).

I would recommend changing the transmission fluid now too unless you have already done that. BMW claims its a lifetime fluid, but its truly not. ~100k miles is the last chance you have to safely change the transmission fluid though.
If you wait too long the tranny will likely start slipping with the new fluid because there isn't enough viscosity for the fluid to catch the gears.

Now is a good time to flush/replace any other fluids that haven't been done in a while. Brake fluid, power steering fluid, differential oil, coolant, etc.

For my 100k anniversary I got the dreadful waterpump bill. So prepare ureself by searching out for parts. 500$ for a waterpump is ridiculous! They say it's electric like it has a digital display and fancy electronics to it.lol So it gives them the rite to charge a ridiculous price for it.

Wow never heard of this. I'm at 106k. So when is it considered not safe? Funny thing is. I had a 01 mercedes s430awhile back and I did a fluid change and within a few weeks. My secong gear would slip. Never really thought that the fluid change would contribute to this
