M54 idle control valve
Hello,
Can anyone point me towards some info on removing and cleaning the icv?
I see very slight info on e46, but I'd like to see the procedure on an e60.
It seems it's located under the disa valve, so while I'm there I'll check the valve. Now, with removal of the disa, will a new o ring be needed for re installing the disa?
I'm pretty sure the disa is non serviceable, meaning no new o rings from BMW :/
Any info you could help me with would be appreciated. I have an m54 2.5
Thanks!

Idle valve is sort of buried near the throttle body. It's a bit of a pain to get to but very doable. Remove disa and air box with maf, you'll have good access after that. If you're going to go that far I'd also remove the throttle body and give it a look too, mine had a slight film of dirt inside. My disa had a new ring on it since I just rebuilt it with the GAS kit, if yours is in good shape I wouldn't worry about it. I would put a new seal on the throttle body.
