Default Low beam headlight is out

Is this just a simple unplug twist & turn replacement? My right side running light still works but the low and high beam do not. My funds are limited and I am just wanting to stay lit and legal.

Thanks

Depends on what lights you have and what is burned out.

2004 E60 525i. I viewed a YT video and it seemed quite straight forward but I just got frustrated. I purchased a replacement bulb and the star lug last month ($40) and I will be damned the light came back on when I was attempting to pull out the lens's assembly (what a PITA and with no success). Got pulled over last night, displayed my LEO license so no ticket, but dang it I am at a loss.

Any tricks or am I missing a bolt or should I just pour a bucket of grease over it and finagle with HP?
