LCI Tailights..

I was on the highway today and saw a silver grey pull infront of me with LCI tails. The moment he pressed brakes I was surprised to notice that the actual brake lamp wasnt LED! I just dont understand the concept of making brake lights and leaving them with a regular bulb. Because LED brake lights are really helpful during snow storms and dense fog. Im wondering what is the use of these lights afterall?

they only have led indicators
they r no more useful to the orignal version just look a dam lot better with the rod side lights

The breaklights should've been LEDs, they light up much faster, wich is a good thing when it comes to breaklights...
