Hi can anyone help ??

I have the 2003 530d model first of the e60 with no dpf filter. Had the car a few months now 100k and not a single problem until today!!

Driving normally today it seemed to go off a cylinder as vibration and knocking noise came from engine.

When I looked at the engine it was lumpy and had the symptoms of being off a cylinder,,I suspected it was an injector failure.

I removed each injector plug electrical connection to identify which one had failed, number two when disconnected seemed to make no difference but removing all the rest made it worse . I removed and replaced number 2 injector but still it made no difference??

I am now thinking I may have an electrical failure to the plug connection or worst case the injector pump!!!!!

Has any one any suggestions????
