My Ride: 530i SMG
Default Hello :)

Hi guys,
I just wanted to say hi, and let you know that i`m still here even after i sold my E60 (i miss that car )

Got an F15....sold that and now i`m back to a small car, 335i M Performance.

The E60 was converted + reprogrammed from SMG to 6sp manual.

How complex was the conversion? How did you get the computers to play nicely with the new trans?

not hard at all. Delete the SMG from the ECU with NCS Expert. I think it was called 206A or something like that. After that create the manual tranny 205 and program the ECU. (i`m not sure about the numbers (206-205) but you will see them when you look into the ECU with NCS expert.)

Pretty much all you have to do is to delete the SMG from the ECU. The manual transmission doesnt really need to be programmed.

After conversion i had the car checked by BMW. Everything was perfect.
