Default E60 Bluetooth loose connection

My E60 (2005, 530i) recently lost BT connection to cell phone when call is in-coming. It does not happen all the time, about 50%. Out going calls have no problem. Once BT connection is lost, it will reconnect and works again.

What could be the problem ?

Thanks.

No, I am using Andriod phone. BT connection used to be very good; this lost connection issue just showed up in last month or so.

ah weird.. alot of people are having issues now with ios10 and bluetooth connectivity in cars, not just BMWs. Thought it might be related.

You could try reprogramming the Bluetooth module.

you'll need ISTA/P or WinKFP and a power supply for the battery. Not something easy if you have no experience with it as you can ruin your car. Take it to an experienced indy that has ista/p he should be able to reprogram the module. Though you should know if the module itself is half dead it wont survive the programming and will probably stop working completely.

Thank you for the information. I will take it to Indy. I don't have ISTA/P nor WinKFP.
