Hi All,

Just purchased my lovely E60 520d 2005.
When I set the A/C blower to air volume 1 2 or 3 so the air is blown stronger it does it but intermittently. So it starts to blow air then it nearly stops in 2-3 seconds and its starts again. And that's what it does all the time. Its very irritating and I believe that it should not be doing it. I have the version with no additional extra options.

Please give me some ideas

Sounds like the fan motor is going bad, just a guess.

Well. Just had a chat with a bmw specialist. He says that it will be the motor itself. But I should replace the resistor as well. Saving me taking apart the dash second time.

It could be the controller or the motor - it's most likely the motor though.
