I only did the fronts, as the rears still have a few thousand miles to go. So here's a direct comparison.
In the pics, the car was due for a bath, but I intentionally let it get a little dirty so I could do this comparison.
Left: front wheel, Brembo ceramic pads.
Right: rear wheel, stock semi metallic pads.
Fronts are ALWAYS dirtier than the rears, so this shows how much "cleaner" the ceramics run.

I have never heard of dust free brakes before. Ceramic pads are premium bakes that produce the least amount of brake dust and I have been using Akebonos and slotted/drilled rotors for almost 10 years now on all my cars. If you get the right setup your bite will be better than the original. I still have dust but it is minimal.
