Dustless brake pads for a 535xi?
Wondering if someone could suggest some good dustless brake pads.
The amount of dust the stock pads produce is getting to be a really big pain.
Thanks in advance

just replaced my OEM pads with akebono euros (ceramic) last week at the recommendation of Jay and others on the board. I washed my wheels the day I put them on (saturday the 14th) and as of yesterday they still look perfectly clean.
from recent experience, you should expect less initial bite when you switch to ceramic but you will get used to it quickly.
i ordered them from amazon ($67) and i know i ordered the right part number (EUR918), but i think they shipped me EUR918 because there were metal clips on the pads for the non-piston (outboard) side. in order for the caliper to fit over the new pads and attach to the caliper bracket, I had to dremel off the clips on that side. i think those extra clips are needed for the 3-series application. it only took a few min to get the clips off but I was agitated that the wrong set was sent. make sure you get the right set - the inner pad should have three clips on the backside to fit into the piston bore. the outer pad should have a smooth back with no clips.
Don't forget to get a new wear sensor. i know some people reuse them but mine was stuck in there and I couldn't get it out without breaking it. you can find them for around $15.

the EUR918 are standard for most non-M 5 series across quite a few years.
