Climate control panel and A/C issues
Hi all - I recently took ownership of an 2010 E61.
The A/C has been working great ever since I've had the car. Last night while driving around, my lady friend received a phone call and immediately started messing w/ the climate control knobs thinking she was turning down the stereo... anyway, whatever she did seemed to alter the CC panel and controls somehow and I can't seem to get it back where it was.
Basically, the A/C seemed to stop blowing cold and the lights on each temperature control knob went out... I've played w/ every setting imaginable, read the manual, checked fuses, searched the forums and managed to find only one post that dealt w/ this, but there wasn't a fixed posted... W/ the A/C on Max, it does seem to blow cold, but not super cold...
Anyone have any thoughts?
Thx, JT

well lets start from the beginning. You want to make sure your temperature setting is at 74/22 F/C then make sure the cooling button is on and the auto button is pressed. That should undo every changeable setting. Make sure the car is cooling. If it is then your good to go. Either getting used to the auto setting or change the flap settings. Cooling should always be on. Even if you need heat.
