i am having problems tracking my car. i have been using the bmwusa website and the 1800 831-1117. as of the 25th of feb my car on the 1800 # told me that it is in transit and before that since the 13th it has said at port of exit. neither the owners circle and wallenius websites have changed. i am wondering if any of you had dealt with the same thing. i am going crazy waiting for this car. please let me know what you think.

At this point it is probably safe to say the boat went down.

I'm having the exact same issue. Car was completed on 02/18 and it's been sitting at the port of exit (in Germany) ever since (according to the 800# and the BMW OC). No info from the shipper when inputting the VIN either.

I just hope the info is outdated and the ship has set sail. I heard it takes 26 days to hit the US West coast.

BMW Owner Circle still reports my 545 is "Awaiting Transport" ever since Feb 11th. The 800 phone # says it is "in transit". However, w2global.com VIN tracking has no record of it.

But my dealer just informed me today that is on a ship scheduled to arrive at the port in California on March 18th.

thanks for the info i have been going crazy waiting for this car. i guess that is good info that for me that means my is on the boat then cool. do you know what ship yours is on. that will be awesome if mine is on the same ship. Did your dealer tell you any info. let me know thanks

Based on a message I read a few weeks ago (can't remember which board), I think my car is on the ship named Figaro because someone else had their car ship the same day as mine, bound for California. However, Figaro is scheduled to dock on March 22nd, but my dealer told said my ship would dock on the 18th, so now I'm not sure. W2global.com's schedule doesn't list anything arriving in CA on the 18th, but it does list Figaro arriving on the 22nd.

I guess I'll have to keep my fingers crossed and wait.

as of the march 4th my owners circles site says in transit. but no change on the ship tracking site. how about you?

Yes, same with mine. Owners circle just updated yesterday to in transit, but no ship tracking info yet.
