Default active steering fluid leak

So About a month ago my 535i gave me a steering malfunction when coming to a stop, it needed power steering fluid, so I topped it off and went on my way. About 6 months prior i replaced my rear active sway bar due to a leak so the fluid was just topped off then. Now today on my way to work I came to a harder stop and got a steering malfunction again... Last week I did my oil change and was taking a look under the car. I noticed one of my hoses definitely needs to be replaced but that's not the main culprit to this leak. There's more fluid that looks to be coming from the top of the steering rack on the drivers side, I couldn't tell if it was dripping onto the rack from somewhere or actually coming from the top the rack itself . I guess my question is, is there any guesses to where that other leak could be coming from or anything else I should check out? I'm really hoping it's not the steering rack, I have a feeling it is, but just trying to look for other options before I purchase a replacement for it. It drives and handles fine, it just has the leak. Also, I should mention that I don't see any puddles under the car at all and nothing drippin out the sides of the under panel covers. The covers are definitely wet, but nothing is dripping from them when parked. Any advice would be appreciated!

What is the exact error? Active Steering or Dynamic Drive Malfunction? How is the PS Fluid Level now?

It didn't say either, just said it had a steering malfunction I believe. Which ever one comes with low fluid I guess. It's definitely still going through fluid, but I have no idea where it's going... It's not dripping anywhere, I don't smell it either, it's just the saturated under panel that shows signs of a leak somewhere. I'm hopping to get it up on my buddy's lift this week so I can take a better look around

the ARS valve body is prone to leaks. Its behind the front tire on the passenger side behind the wheel fender (it has its own opening, you'll find it real fast if take a good look.)

The leak is on the drivers side, but good to know!

Still haven't gotten a chance to get the car in the air yet, I'll update when it does
