Re auto torque rating, I think the 525d LCI 3.0 auto, 6hp19t? (=6hp21) is rated to 450Nm. It is used in the new 740i which has 450Nm (although gasoline, dont know if there's a difference in comparability). I think when the LCI came out, most tuners assumed the 525d to have the same auto as 530d and offered same tuning result as a tuned 530d, but most seem to have pulled this back to 460-470nm for a 525d LCI auto remap.
