Need Help Identifying Wire Connection On A2001 - 525i
AHello all,
I recently had to do the unpleasant job of replacing the plastic water pipes below the intake manifold. I removed the manifold and just about everything on the top of the motor and when I went to reassemble it I have one wire connection I cannot find where it plugs back into. Can anyone help me? The car will start and run for a moment with no fuel leaks but stalls within 30 seconds. It restarts again right up but then stalls again.

Better Description of Wire Location
[the connector is the second wire from the top of the wiring bundle that bolts up under the intake manifold and idle control valve. It is the second wire from the top that heads towards the front of the car towards the front bumper. The wire length is approximately 10 inches long. Can anyone help me identify where it goes.

Did you get your car going?
I dont know if this will help or not
I recently changed the starter motor on my car (2004 525i)
the oil pipes that run to the canister under the inlet manifold have a similar wiring configuration
They heat the oil breather pipes
there are about four i think
The wire wrapes arond the oil breather pipes to heat the gases and oil
May be and its a big maybe you have had one disconnected
maybe the computer knows its not connected and shuts the engine down
Like i said I am not sure but hope it may help
