Hi all
Hi I have owned my 530 d se 2003 for 3years now, loved it
But for a while now it's been having transmission problems. About 2 years ago I'd just set off from a junction and there was an allmighty clunk then it went into limp mode and there was a red cog come on the dashboard.so it got me home ok. It started up after a short while and was ok but from then till now it's been making a little clunk/bang as it changed from 1st to 2nd but only when cold.recently the engine has been cutting out at around 30 mph and less with the red cog coming up on the dashboard again.
But after a miniute or so the car will start and there's no error message showing
I love this car and don't want to sell it
Anyone know what could be the problem pls
