I have an LCI and I did a sport mode mod, but I did not have to go into the dashboard where people said there is a plug by the heated seat/radio console, so I am ruling out having a plug there.

The last thing that I did was code out the steering wheel tightness when on sport mode:
GESCHWIN_WERTE_SPORT_KGM
STROMWERTE_SPORT_KGM

I haven't had a chance to take a closer look to see if my tilt steering motor is jammed or not getting power yet.. it has to get a bit warmer for me to do that again.

I have a pre-lci so I don't know if this applies. Anyway, when I did the sport mod mode in my car, my tilt steering stopped working. It turned out that I inadvertently slightly disconnected the harness that connects to the DCT button module just in front of the gear shift.

It's possible it fell out of its own will... But I didn't go near that switch.. For the lci you need to access the glove box modules...

alright guys I've run into my first problem here with coding.

I've coded a few features with no issues (folding mirrors/roll up windows via key fob, pathway lighting via key fob etc)

today I was trying to code my car to fold the mirrors via key fob with no delay, which I did successfully, but now my car does not chirp when I press the arm button via key fob. Unlock chirp works perfectly fine as designed.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Take a look in the iDrive settings. I seem to recall that the "chirp" option is in there somewhere.

Default help with coding

Everyone,

I updated to CIC and now I have lost my ability to use the parking ventilation, anyone know the setting that controls that?

I also lost my ability to use my trip meter completely, the rest button the instrument cluster does nothing, even after coding with a blank man file.
thanks
