I was reading the various DIYs regarding the installation. The instructions state to disconnect the negative pole of the battery.

Is this really necessary? If so, Does't that screw up the whole computer???

If you're removing the bumper in front and rear you're going to have to remove front PDC, fog lights, etc. So yeah, disconnect the battery. Its not a piece of cake job.

no you dont have to if you dont want.

all you have to do is take out the bumper slowly so that you wont rip the pdc wires..

my buddy and I installed wihtout disconnecting the battery

I don't have PDC, so I guess it really doesn't matter, right?
