I purchased my shade from eBMWParts.com for $114.57 + 11.46 shipping ($126.03). There were no instructions included so the DIY was very handy!! It took longer than 10 minutes though... but a lot of time was spent walking between the car and tool box in the house since I ALWAYS forget something.
I would add that the rear seat head rests had to be removed in order to remove the torx bolt behind the Airbag clip. This can be avoided if you have a stubby T20 torx but I don't recall ever seeing stubby torx. I also found that I could not drill from the top due to the narrow space between the rear window and sill. No biggie drilling from the trunk since you're only going through a small amount of insulation and perhaps 1/8" of plastic.
I purchased 8x32 3" bolts. The shade came with 1/2" bolts so apparently it works on other vehicles but pointless for installation on an E60.
The slots in the clips were a bit too narrow. This made it somewhat difficult to slide the clips over the panel's upholstery. Again, no big deal but they could make slots just a little bit wider to ease the installation.
Cheers!

Can you post some pics in the open and also closed positions?
Thanks

Also, I thought you should mark the exact hole from the bottom first and drill from the top to prevent from making a wrong hole in the wrong area. I used a small drill at work.
Sorry, I forgot to mention to look for 8x32 3" flat head cap screw (Probably metric) similar to what came with the sunshade just 3? long instead of 1/2?
I guess having the right tool make a big difference, thanks to our maintenance department!
I hope you enjoy your new sunshade.
