Help with adding an AUX cable

Be aware of some change in the electronics in preface cars from 09/05. My car is made 11/05 a 2006 model then. Did the same upgrade with aux, but they struggle to get to work properly because there is a slight difference in the cars made before 09/05

Thanks for the heads up! What kind of changes did you experience? So far I haven't noticed anything except from a slight hissing sound when I have my phone plugged in but no music playing.

Can someone help me? where can i find a list of codes for my E60. I have an AUX cable that I installed, but its not working since the dealer has to activate it, and they want to charge me around 200euros. I have a bavarian obd cable to imput the codes with

Well if this is the first time that youre coding I would recommend doing allot or research and reading. I spent hours reading up on coding before I actually attempted it.

As for the aux, code the CAPPL module and set AUX_CONFIG to MOUNTED and then add the option to the VO (+NAUX) in the CAS and LMA modules and then program the CCC or M-ASK.
