Lomag, before replacing the buttons, trying gentley rubbing them out with rubbing compound. I have tried another product (Gel Gloss) for stuff like this and it has saved many things for me. It may work for scratches that aren't too deep.

as lomag mentioned, remove the unlock/hazard button first.

Great! Thanks for the additional pics...it doesn't look like it should be all that hard (fingers crossed)...I was going to tackle this yesterday...but decided to do a little boating instead
