I need access to 12 volts in the rear and in the front
Those that have already read some of my posts will know I have NO power sockets or pre-wiring except for the cig lighter in the front.
is there an easy point to tap into switched 12V anywhere that anybody knows of?

Doctor: Don Juan's post about installing a radar detector has pics of exactly where it is, near the sunroof switch. That would take car of the front. Sorry I can't help for the rear. I'm not happy they took those outlets away from you, and others. Passenger comfort and driver sanity was definitely impacted by that move. A professional stereo/alarm installer should be able to have this taken care of quickly and easily, I would think. Good luck.

DD, I'm simply guessing here but wouldn't there be a 12V source under one of the front seats (assuming they're power adjustable). If so, it would be the type of power that is not turned on or off with the key (which may or may not be desireable for your situation).
Other than that, your best bet is to simply run a wire from under the dash down the center console. This method would end up being the "cleanest" as well as being the easiest to do.
