i found in one photo on steering wheel for sale, there are one 2 pin connector and one 1 pin connector, i hope : Heater element had connection via 1 pin and earth and temp sensor is via 2 pins.
i have only heater elenet from e65, not wheel...

i think it must have minimum of 3 wires because NEG, POS, Sensor ,Sensor.

FYI, its very easy to put down airbag.... just put flat acrewdriver with steering wheet straight in to a small hole towardr direct up direction.

@Hyri: Great job. Would love to see the finished picture. How the e65 steering looks on E60 interior. Would you mind sharing some pics of your accomplishment.

noone should helped me with banal question where i need to connect 3 wires.

i have only heater element from e65 which is inside e60 M wheel with 2TB Paddles polstered in to leather and alcantara.

but i dont wanted perfored leather so they now are going to rebuild it to a smooth soft leather with alcantara....

Hi everybody, after years of fun I am parting with my faithful 525i. Hence, I will be taking out all the mods that were done to the car. I have the full SAT kit including shifter+steering, also as the steering is heated I have the switch+coil spring+switch unit steering column for sell. PM me if anybody is interested.
