The DIY say that after 03/07 the mirror is diffrent..
Whats diffrent between 09/05-03/07 and the LCI 03/07 ??? and does the DIY work for those 2 mirrors aswell ???
There are 3 types of mirrors in the market: • Pre09/05:multipleconnectors
• 09/05-03/07:singleconnector
• LCI(Post03/07):singleconnector

My Ride: 535D Tourer - Pre LCI
This might be a silly question, but why can the 3 plug not be converted to a single plug (or hard wired) if you can just ascertain which 'lives' go where? I was thinking of getting the mirrors and just laying a battery across the terminals to gauge what controls what....
I have a pre LCI 3 pin set up with folding, auto dim etc... Just looking into fitting the larger 09/10 mirrors if at all possible. It seems this single plug is my stumbling block.
