I recently purchased a bass boat that had a perfect hull and motor. The only flaw was the carpet and seats. I decided they both needed to be replaced. I took the boat in for an estimate and was quoted $1500 for both the seats and carpet. EFFFFF THAT! I gotta get my headers and oil cooler... that guy must have been crazy!

After doing some research online I decided it was something I could do myself. I found the exact marine carpet locally for $170 (144 sq. ft.), found a shop to reupholster the seats for $300, and spent $50 on misc. stuff @ home depot. Total build/material cost: $520.

I just finished up the carpet today and will be picking up the seats next week. It took a total of four days working on average 3 hours per day. Here are some pics...all comments are welcome. Thanks for looking

This is what carpet looked like before.

I'm in man! I haven't been fishing since chowbox, myself and 8 other friends did a 10 dayfly in trip to Flin Flon, Canada 3-4 years ago!

That's an AWESOME name for the boat, DOOO IT!! Or you could call it the Tijuana D'Angler!

Thanks mike, it wasn't too difficult but somewhat tedious. The prep work was a pain in the arse and waiting for the glue to set was a pain.

We dont have muskies here in socal. Mostly large mouth, stripers, cats trouts, and blue gill. Glad to hear you winterized the boat. Post some pics on this thread when you get a chance,
