Reverse camera - Dension AVR
I've the same issue with the reverse camera, it only triggers when in (or when I select) TV mode. In any other screen (FM, AM, CD, any iDrive menu) the camera does not trigger - I have to select TV mode and it the cam picture shows up. Have tried the reverse detect wire, have tried resetting the Dension, updated firmware, etc - makes no difference. Is it just a feature of the Dension AVR that requires the be in TV mode all the time to work??

I just finished my install of this great product. Totally awesome it's fully integrated with everything in the idrive. very cool. Only issue I've got right now is there's so many units in my glove box I don't know what to do with them all. I have an E60 M5 and I can't figure out how to get the entire glove box out. Only the lower half. i cant find spots to mount it otherwise. any tips or suggestions? anyone install a dvd drive someplace?

I have tried to install a reverse camera on the AVR for an E60. I get the camera on signal but when i go to the play menu it just comes back onto the main menu and no picture.

Dear Contributors,
I have a BMW E60 2004 and got Dension Gateway 500 and BTA installed and working with CCC navigation
I'm trying to install Dension AVR, but the cables are missing for it as I got a used unit from a friend and he didn't have cables for it
Would you guys help in figuring out the wiring and pinout and how to get it working?
Much appreciated
