My Ride: 535d Sport, carbon black, media pack, visibility pack, grey leather, heated seats, sun protection glass, voice control, Eibach ProKit, 19" 166 style wheels, e-maps ECU remap to 325hp and 640NM, top speed limiter removed
hand wash.
Can do without the dreaded swirlmarks caused by carwash brushes.
Use carwashes in Germany when over there, that use Microfibre towels instead of brushes.

I mix it up--provided the car wash is DIY touchless. My car stays very clean so I don't have to wash it often. About half the time my dealer does a hand wash for me. Then, I go to a mall parking lot close by and use quick detailer to clean any missed places. My dealer does a pretty decent job. Every time my car gets a tad dirty I try to think of something that needs checking/fixed by my dealer.

I always wash my cars by hand. I don't trust automatic car washes, plus they don't do a very good job of cleaning the car.

hand wash for me. . . I wouldnt take it to any car wash since u may never know what kind of materials their using.
