Well if you didnt read the subject. I was curious to see what other members' favorite tire shine product was. I was looking at autozone and there were quite a few to choose from. So i opted to wait and see what others thought.

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

If your going to buy something at the store, I'd recommend Stoner's Tire Shine. The one in the aerosol is silicone based and the one in the spray bottle is water based. IF you feel like it's too shiny, just wait a few minutes then buff off to leave a matte finish.

There are lots of good products for this online too. 303 Aerospace is one of my favorites. It's water based, you can put it on the rubber seals around your doors, your dash, tires, anything rubber or plastic. Well worth it in my opinion, but that stoner's stuff is pretty good too. I find that it tends to wear off quickly when its raining heavily.

I don't really like the shiny ones, but there is one that I used before it gave it a matte look or natural rubber look. Don't know what its called though haha.

Swissvax Pneu is the best matte finish tire dressing I have ever worked with. Pricey but you do get what you pay for.

I use Autoglym Instant Tyre Dressing , spray on and walk away for wet look - rub down if a matt finish required.

Nice and simple and cheap too, ?6 bottle lasts me about a year, using it every two weeks.

I use Poor Boys Bold and Bright. Gives a nice satin finish without being too glossy. No slinging and smells great.

Thanks for all the input. I think im going to look at some of these that have been suggested. How well does that Swissvax Pneu hold in rain?

EDIT : also, would this work to restore the color on the weather strip around my moon roof? I would assume yes, but you know what they say about assuming things.
