What's the official word/product for cleaning carbon and dull looking chrome tail exhaust. The top side of my exhaust/tips are shiny, but the bottom side is dull and carbonized (covered). I can't clean it was regular car wash.
1. What is a good (cheap) product to buy?
2. What product around the house can I use to shine and remove the carbon off the chrome, if any?
Thanks.

I was able to remove the carbon buildup, but the rim around the exhaust tips are dull look. They seem to have lost their reflective chrome property. The top half of the exhaust is just fine, though.
