Best places/sites to buy BMWs in the US

Might be making the move to the US in the coming months and I would like to have a look at some sites to see what the prices are like for BMWs compared to Europe.
Which sites are the best, or the ones that everybody uses?
Will probably end up in the Seattle are so anything near there would be beneficial.
Through my googling came across craigslist prices in Seattle and found 3 series (non M3) from 2001-2002 for 12-13k USD wtf? Are those dealer joke prices or that's what they go for around there/in general?
Seems ridiculous since the same car around europe would be 5-6k USD or way less.

Are you looking to buy new or used?
For used cars, in addition to Craigslist (which can be a little rudimentary) you can get a pretty good overview of what's on the market on eBay motors (motors.ebay.com) and Autotrader (www.autotrader.com). Both will let you focus your search on specific regions.
For pricing, you can use Kelley Blue Book (www.kbb.com), NADA (www.nadaguides.com) and Edmunds (www.edmunds.com)
Edmunds is also a good resource if you're looking to buy new. It will give you the price the dealer pays for the car (the "invoice" price and a supposed "true market value"). As a general rule, you will want to try to get as close to "invoice" as you can.
Good luck with the search.

Yeah I had a quick look at some of the sites and it seems 99% of the E60 cars are SE model (bar the M5s of course), I personally couldn't live with that, has to be M sport. But all E60 550is seem to have it as standard right?

I've seen more than a few 550i's without the M Sport kit. And the ones that I did see with a kit were aftermarket (Hamann, Rieger, etc)
