Answers: First of all, my wife and I have to move in a few months (5 or so) and I would like to close on the house before I get the E60. Trying to be responsible
Jimbo, my plan is to get a white 525 with Auburn, manual, nav, premium, shades, xenon, cold weather, premium sound, and sport???
JDN, I won't be here long enough to enjoy them, but you are correct. El Paso, TX, there is nothing withing 6 hours of here, and there are some nice desert roads that people take there motorcycles out on that a 545 could really dig into. I haven't driven a 545, and I don't plan to. No need to tease myself. I have driven the 525, and I was thrilled...been driving an '85 Caprice for too long I guess.
KenTo, I haven't taken a BMW driving course, but I will say that I fully understand the driving dynamics of cars, and I really enjoy tha aspect of the BMW. I had a 318i in Indy before I moved here. Rear wheel drive, in the winter, heavy snow, some ice, and that thing handles beautifully. 50/50 balance really helps correct oversteer, and if you know how to react, the BMW lets you get out of the situation without any hesitation or concern. No AWD, nothing. Just basic driving skills and a wonderfully designed automobile.
All, please just bear with me. I know that the dealerships think I am pulling their leg, they even act like they are tired of me coming by, but I am in a bind, and I refuse to let a car limit my purchasing power on our house...just doesn't make sense to me. I beg of you guys to hang in there with me, and see me through to the end...please.

Forget responsibility...think about what owning an E60 feel like?
