I'm torn between the Samsung SCH-i760 & Verizon Wireless XV6800. One of the must have features of course is that bluetooth works in the car. Does anyone have any experience pairing either two?

Hey there.
Actually I was in the same bind as you. I went into verizon to buy the i760 as I read it was a better "phone" but they were out so ended up with the xv6800. The number pad would be a big big plus as even the keyboard must use a function key to access numbers on the XV. The looks arent that bad. The battery life is fair at best, coming from a moto Q, this one is worse.
BUT the big problem Im having is with the blue tooth. My moto Q was almost a perfect match to my 07 530 with the exception of a slight delay before I could hear the caller on incoming calls. This one has been very glitchy! When I initially paired it everything worked fine. The first time I stepped back into my vehicle my car didnt find the phone, had to pair it again. The next time it paired but when someone called it, I answered and it was not on my speakers in the car instead it was live on the phone as if I wasnt using blue tooth at all. Other things similar to this have happened in the last 2 days, no phonebook, takes 10 minutes to auto pair itself, calls not getting through etc. So I may be taking it back for the i760 and try my luck with that. I may also try that Jetware software.
Let me know if anyone knows of a software fix for this.
Thanks!

Hey eddie,
Picked up the i760 yesterday. Paired up perfectly and has repaired with my car fine many times without any problems.
I'm still messing around trying to customizing it. Any suggestions for what proggies to install?
Good luck with the XV6800. I'd trade it in for the i760 if you're having problems. The numpad buttons are wonderful to use!
