Default Mulf2 High Bluetooth Activation K+DCAN cable?

Hi guys,

I need your support!

I've bought used Mulf2 High with Part # 84.10 - 9 149 843 - 01.

My car is '05 E60 with SA644 installed. I've moved the inner connector from the white connector (which was connected to my old BT module) to the new blue connector (without making any changes) and fitted the optic plug.

Afterwards I changed the VO by adding 6FL and recoded the CAS module and the 5 CCC modules. The USB Fakra cable was installed and I am successfully playing music from an USB Stick, BUT I don't have Bluetooth. When I try to connect via NCS Expert to the MULF module - cannot be done.

The Bluetooth is available in the IDrive menu, but I cannot mark the checkbox to Activate it.

I haven't changed the production date to #0307, but I guess this is not a show stopper, as the USB is working, my only problem is the BT. Can someone point me to the right direction how to activate it? I guess it is possible, despite the fact that this Mulf2 High is from the first produced? The car, in the junk yard, was E92 and strangely it had TCU 1.5 plus the MULF2 High module, which I found odd at the time.

P.S. I have the K+DCAN cable with DIS, INPA, NCS Expert, WinKFP, Tools32 - is this enough?

Any help is appreciated!

Regards,
Bobby

Okay guys, the BT is active and I am happy.

The problem was, that for pre LCI cars there is no Gateway module. The Mulf2 communicates only via MOST (Optic), thus it cannot work with DCAN cable.

The options are 2:
1. Install the module on a LCI car and code it via DCAN cable
2. Get an optic interface (attaching it to the outlet in the glovebox) and coding the module afterwards (this is what I did). The only trick here is, that the coding must be done via SSD file in NCS Expert, because when the EDIABAS works with MOST it cannot recognize the car, thus you need a SSD file to simulate the car and afterwards to code the 2MULF module.
