Hi All,
Since upgrading my iPhone 3GS to IOS v5 it will not make or receive any calls through the bluetooth capability of my e60.
I can add my iphone as a device, it is listed (discovered) by the car but any calls go straight to the iphone and even no option comes up on the iphone to accept and use via the car.
Obviously a problem with the IOS but has anyone else experienced this or worked out a solution.
BTW my iphone is not jailbroken and I don't want to jailbreak it.
Regards,
MC

are you answering the calls from the phone or from the car itself? if you slide to answer on the phone, even with the bluetooth connected to the car, it will route the call to the phone instead of the car. not sure if that was the case with older 3gs software versions. I have an iphone 4 on os 5 that works fine, but if i want the car to pick up i have to answer from the steering wheel or the idrive controller.
i didn't even have to re-pair the phone with the car after the upgrade.

Not that this is relevant information: but I am in the iOS developer program and have been using iOS5 for testing purposes for months. On 3GS and iPhone 4 it was never an issue with bluetooth, in fact I am not sure the firmware for the bluetooth chip changed much if at all. I would just restore the phone and re-sync it while crossing your fingers - seems to clear up issues I encounter.
