Entering a "pause" in a stored #-Moto E815

I have been unable to figure out how to enter a pause in a saved number on my Motorola E815 and have the E60 Bluetooth recognize it. On the phone, the pause works and shows up as a "p" between the number and the pin. The car places the number "7" where the "p" is on the phone. Does anyone know what I can do to correct the situation?

That's a bug that's been around since day one. Supposedly, it's fixed in version CIP 19.01...
