e61 retrofit possible ?
Hi, I believe from what I've read that the bluetooth retrofit could be done for a limited money.
my car is e61 2007/12 (Left wheel drive, LCI) and has following options :
- Gps pro s609a (CCC)
- usb/aux s6FLa
- 6CD charger preparation
- no voice control
- no bluetooth preparation
But in the trunk I found a mulf2 module with a bluetooth logo on it (high svs)
As far as I understand the needed step to get bluetooth are :
- buy a mic => 84316938762
- buy a bluetooth antenna => 84506928461
- buy some cables => ??? no idea of refs...
- buy an obd DCAN capable + some coding software
- wire the bluetooth antenna under the front armrest to the mulf2 (use the dedicated plug)
- wire the mic in the front headlight to the mulf2 (modifying blue plug)
- code the S644A option with SSS
- code the S620A option with SSS
=> enjoy voice input and bluetooth
So my questions are :
1/ Does this description is close to what must be done ?
2/ Does someone know what cable ref I'm searching for are (mulf2<=>mic, mulf2<=>bluetooth antenna) ?
3/ I've found some official retrofit guides but they talk about adding a snap-in adaptater. is a retrofit guide exists that would better match what I need to do ?
4/ Could the mic cable be handmade ? If so, which connectors refs are involved ?
This is a lot of questions for my 2nd post but I'll be happy to make this retrofit happen.
If so I will write a tutorial explaining all the steps involved.
(I hope that my english isn't too bad as I'm french)
