iPhone 3gs,4 and ipods never work in my car...

My Ride: 530xi 07' fully loaded...stock :(
my ipods nor iphones never work in my car i have a 2007 530xi with the ipod connector could it be the connector is to old for the devices?

My Ride: BMW 525i e60 (private) M-style,, Carbon Black, HUD, MM Interface.
And a BMW 325 e90 (Business),
Can you be a bit more descriptive with what does not work?
A few things maybe:
1. iPod does not charge - newer generation iPods. There is a power adapter for that (playing would still work though)
2. It does not work at all - make sure all connectors are connected to the iPod interface in your BMW.
3. Your stereo is not configured for CD Changer operation - iPod will not work (dealer can code this).

ipod charges, i do not have a cd changer installed but i do have a dvd slot and cd slot with idrive etc. could that be the problem?
i just dont get the list of songs nor does sound come out when im in AUX mode etc.

That might as well be it. For the iPod IF to work, you need to have the CD changer option coded.
However, if your car came with the iPod Interface, one might assume it should work.
No sound from the AUX seems weird as that is just a line in interface.. sounds a bit crappy, but still should play.
Maybe a cabling issue?
