Yes it is, but the way to prevent that is to choose the "switch audio" option rather than the "disconnect BT" option. I think it is the next choice down on the list. When you pick the "switch audio" option, it will go to the phone speaker and stay there until you finish the call. Once you hang up, the next call will come in over the BT. The only problem with this, is that the radio will unmute after about 20secs. So you have to get use to hitting the mute button on the radio before it comes back on.

The radio only comes back on in my e60. On my x5 it does not come back on. I don't know if this is just a clitch in the software on my e60, but I have learned to live with it.
