Having problems detecting the car on my phone. I've done all the coding and added to the VO. Everything shows up in I-drive but my phone won't detect my car. (iphone 5c) I have 84119120760 Bluetooth module, and all the cables are plugged in. Any ideas?

I talked to the seller and convinced him to swap the 2008 TCU with a 2007 TCU and he agreed, I just have to return the item and pay for shipping for the 2007 TCU. What a great eBay seller (sfvautoparts )
Hoping this one will solve the problem, although the TCU manufacture date is 10/2007 and not earlier than 05/2007.

I have the BT prep, mic, etc. The one I ordered is part no. 84109181276 and shows a build date of 01.05.2008. It is GSM and shows IMEI... will be getting it coded at my Indy and using an Iphone 5s.
Any info appreciated....

Interestingly when I put the part no. into REALOEM.com I can cross reference to the 04 E60 and it lists the part as applicable.
01 Telematics control unit GSM/US 1 03/2008 84109181276 ENDED
But if I use my VIN it only shows CDMA TCU's.
Does anyone know if it matters? I bought a GSM TCU w/ the oldest build date I could see. GSM = Iphone so hopefully it will work.

hello guys,
try this:
first step.
delete 638 in FA, enter 633 in FA write to cas and lma with expert profile.
then load new profile in ncs expert profile.
go to cappl and code to default setting and make a reset on cappl then go to the phone ecu in ncs code it on default setting and make reset.
i think so muss it work.
if not, change date of car to 03\05 and then go to the capll ecu and code it on default setting the same for the phone ecu code then make reset for both ecu's
ps: if the tcu 1.5 is comming from car 2008 that can give a problem with software , better to flash the car to the newest software.
let me know if it work.

I'm planning to use an iphone.
Does anyone know if it matters if the TCU is the GSM model or the CDMA model?
Why do they make 2 different vs all in one?? Does it affect the SOS feature? Can I code out the SOS if needed?
